Microscope slide by Fred Enock

Fred Enock was the most famous slide mounter of whole insects done without pressure. This slide displays the head of a leaf cutter bee. The profile view of the slide shows the height necessary for achieving a mount without pressure. The slide is in very good condition, and a fine example that is typical of Enock’s best work.
