Columbus Schülerglobus - 4” terrestrial globeA
fine 4” diameter 8” tall terrestrial globe.
The globe dates to the post WWII era.
Israel is present, Korea is not yet divided into north and south,
and Pakistan is separated form India.
The globe is in very fine condition, with sharp detail, bright
color, and complete varnish coverage, noting one rubbed area in the
Pacific Ocean along the equator.
It stands on a wooden column with circular base and wire support. Cartouche
reads, "Columbus-Schülerglobus,Columbusverlag, Paul
Oestergaad K. G., Berlin Stuttgart." Overall,
this is a fine example of a post WWII globe in a smaller size. Item 4023....................$200 |
