Replogle art deco globe  – circa 1930

 An art deco style globe by Replogle.  It is 6” in diameter and stands 8 3/4" high.  The globe shows Persia, Yugoslavia, and Arabia, which would tend to date it to circa 1930.  The cartouche is signed, “Replogle, 6in, handmade, Library Globe, Replogle Globes Inc., 320 S. Franklin St., Chicago, Illinois.”  The globe is in very fine condition sharp color and good contrast.  The stand is an art deco style ebonized wood base and metal meridian.  The globe is cradled in the stand for easy removal.  In sum, this is a very stylized globe in a smaller size, and in very good condition for its age.
