Terrestrial Globe by Neuse – circa 1930

A stunning 13” diameter terrestrial globe by Neuse, standing 24 high.  The globe shows Constantinople, not Istanbul, which helps dating it to circa 1930.  The cartouche is signed, “Svenska Bokhandelscentralen A.B:s, Stockholm, Jordglob, (uterbetad av Dr. Neuse) för handel hem och skola”.  The globe is in very fine condition with good varnish, and sharp detail, noting some surface scarring overall.  The stand is turned wood, and in very fine condition.  The meridian is brass with indicator markings.  Overall, a fine amber toned globe by one of the premier authors of the 20th century.
